Not all searches are created equal. "What is email marketing?" -> Educational intent (Top of Funnel). "Best email marketing tool for Shopify" -> Buying Intent (Bottom of Funnel).

To get leads on Reddit, you need to filter for Buying Intent.

The Keyword Framework

We categorize keywords into three buckets:

1. Problem-Aware (High Intent)

The user knows they have a problem but doesn't know the solution.

  • "How to fix [Problem]"
  • "[Problem] workaround"
  • "Struggling with [Task]"

Strategy: Reply with advice, then mention your tool as the "easy button."

2. Solution-Aware (Higher Intent)

The user knows solutions exist but is comparing options.

  • "[Competitor A] alternative"
  • "Best tool for [Task]"
  • "Is [Product] worth it?"

Strategy: These are your hottest leads. Be the alternative they are looking for. Compare features honestly.

3. Brand-Aware (Highest Intent)

They are asking about you.

  • "[Your Brand] pricing"
  • "[Your Brand] vs [Competitor]"
  • "Is [Your Brand] legit?"

Strategy: Jump in immediately! Answer questions, offer a demo, or clarify pricing.

Building Your Keyword List

Start with your competitors. List every competitor you have. Add "alternative", "vs", "pricing", "review" to their names. [Competitor] alternative [Competitor] review [Competitor] vs [Your Brand]

These are the keywords that pay the bills. SneakyGuy specializes in detecting these high-intent signals.
